Scanning Clerk

Job Title:                               Scanning Clerk

Location:                               Ogden, Utah

 Pay: $16.00 hourly

Shift: M-F Hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Schedule can be modified to part time schedule

SUMMARY

The Scanning Clerk produces, under supervision, digital copies of historical documents for retention purposes.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Prepare and scan various documents, including various reports, manufacturing documents, and customer manuals, for electronic retention purposes.
  • Maintain scanners for optimum performance and proper resolution of documents.
  • Process and organize scanned documents in various formats and directories for retention on network and local drives.
  • Properly dispose of scanned materials; and
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the potential to be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One to Two years working and / or related experience in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write and comprehend documents.

COMPUTER SKILLS: This position requires the following computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Syteline a plus.  Must be able to scan documents on the printers / copiers and then retrieve them on a computer workstation for archive them on network drives.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to prioritize daily workloads to meet deadlines.

Must have the ability to plan and control work, identify task requirements, and monitor progress towards accomplishment.

  • Day Shift 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
  • Swing Shift 3:30 pm – 2:00 am
  • Reads and interpret orders and specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation.
  • Positions and clamps stops, guides, and turntables; adjusts controls to set and regulate machining factors, such as pressure, adjustment rolls, blade angle, and machine speed.
  • Locates and marks bending or cutting lines and reference points on work piece, using instruments, such as rule and compass, or by tracing from templates.
  • Positions work piece against stops and guides or aligns layout marks with dies or cutting blades.
  • Starts machine and observes machine operation to reposition work piece, change dies, or adjust machine settings for multiple or successive passes; inspects or measures work, using rule, gauges, and templates. · Pushes buttons on control panel to start and activate automatic cycles of production machines.
  • Observes machine operations, material supplies, and position of work pieces to detect malfunctions, needed supplies, or misaligned parts.
  • While performing any of the duties in the Production Assembly area the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Summary: This job encompasses all aspects of electric/electronic assemblies which can include: installation of circuit boards into military components, bridge consoles, PC Air components, Jetpowers, etc. Testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and rework.

  • Testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and rework may be required.
  • Must be able to use hand tools including meters and test equipment as needed.
  • Will use electrical drawings and schematics to properly assemble the unit.
  • Must be able to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring drawings.
  • Assembles all sub-assemblies and components onto the unit’s main frame (case, console, etc).

Prep/Sandblaster Aerospace Industries

Sandblasting rust and/or other material off of product cleaning surfaces in preparation for primer/paint and its proper adhesion. Works in paint and blast booth environment wearing proper safety equipment. Sets up, operates, and cleans sandblasting equipment, loads machine hopper with abrasives such as grit or shot. Applies masking materials to protect designated areas from abrasive action, cleans welds after sandblasting.
